Bacteriostatic water is water for injection with 0.9% benzyl alcohol added as a preservative, which is what allows a vial to be entered more than once. Acetic acid is supplied as a dilute aqueous solution, not as the neat acid, and is used for peptides that dissolve poorly in water alone. Which solvent suits a given peptide is a question for your own method, not for us.
