BPC-157 is a 15-residue sequence described as a partial sequence of body protection compound, found in gastric juice. ARA-290, cibinetide, is an 11-residue peptide taken from helix B of erythropoietin, designed to reach the tissue-protective receptor without the erythropoietic activity of the parent hormone. LL-37 is the 37-residue mature form of the only human cathelicidin, an antimicrobial peptide of the innate immune system.
