What it is
A glycoprotein hormone of two subunits, alpha and beta, which acts at the luteinizing hormone receptor. Unlike almost everything else in this catalogue it is a complete hormone rather than a fragment or an analogue, and it is glycosylated, so it is sold in international units of biological activity rather than by mass.

Concentration here is activity per volume, not mass per volume: an international unit measures biological activity. A 5000iu vial made up to one millilitre of solvent gives 5000iu per millilitre; to two millilitres, half that. Record the volume you used: a solution whose concentration is not written down is a solution you cannot use quantitatively.
