Details

What it is

The tripeptide glycine-histidine-lysine complexed with copper(II). GHK occurs naturally in human plasma, where its concentration falls with age, and it binds copper with a high enough affinity to take it from albumin. The blue colour of the powder is the copper complex, not a dye.

Also sold as: copper tripeptide-1, GHK-copper, glycyl-histidyl-lysine copper

  • As suppliedLyophilised powder, research grade. Deep blue.
  • Into solutionWater-soluble.

Class: Copper tripeptides.

Third-party testing

Our supplier sent samples of this line to Janoshik, an independent analytical laboratory. Enter the task number and key at janoshik.com/verify to read the report on the laboratory's own site, not a copy from us.

These results are for the sample the supplier submitted. They are not a result for the lot you receive, and where a report names a strength, it covers that strength only. See how to read a certificate of analysis.

Reconstitution and handling

Handling

  • As suppliedLyophilised powder
  • Sealed, refrigeratedMonths
  • In solutionRefrigerate, use short-term

Concentration is mass divided by the volume you added. A 50mg vial made up to one millilitre of solvent gives 50mg per millilitre; to two millilitres, half that. Record the volume you used: a solution whose concentration is not written down is a solution you cannot use quantitatively.

The full procedure is on our reconstitution guide, with a concentration calculator; what is known about keeping these materials is on storage and stability. Bacteriostatic water and acetic acid are both in our catalogue and can be ordered with a product or on their own.
