What it is

A dinucleotide coenzyme, not a peptide. It is the electron carrier of central metabolism and the substrate consumed by the sirtuins and PARP enzymes, which is why it appears in the cellular-ageing literature.

Concentration is mass divided by the volume you added. A 100mg vial made up to one millilitre of solvent gives 100mg per millilitre; to two millilitres, half that. Record the volume you used: a solution whose concentration is not written down is a solution you cannot use quantitatively.
